Community Spotlight from United Arts on Chance 2 Dance’s MoveZ® Program
MoveZ®: Expanding Possibilities in Dance Through Inclusive Technique & Training
At Chance 2 Dance, we believe that dance is for everyBODY—and the MoveZ® Dance Program is our latest expression of that mission. Recently featured by United Arts of Central Florida, MoveZ® is making waves as a model for how nontraditional educators can lead transformative, inclusive, and career-minded dance training programs.
Designed for dancers of all learning levels and physical abilities, MoveZ® focuses on technical styles like Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, and Tap—without sacrificing accessibility. Every dancer enrolled receives an Individualized Dance Plan (IDP) that matches them with peers of similar skill levels, creating a supportive environment where growth and confidence can flourish.
But MoveZ® goes beyond just technique. Through weekly classes, dancers build self-discipline, improve work ethic, and grow their self-esteem—skills that carry far beyond the dance studio. As dancers reach personal goals, they earn recognitions that celebrate their progress and keep them motivated every step of the way.
As United Arts noted, the impact of programs like MoveZ® is profound. They not only offer innovative instruction, but they also open the door to career pathways in the arts for dancers who have traditionally been left out of the conversation. It’s a true example of what happens when inclusivity meets intention and opportunity.
At Chance 2 Dance, we are proud to lead the way in redefining what dance education looks like—and we’re honored to see programs like MoveZ® recognized for their innovation, heart, and impact.
