All Chance 2 Dance Instructors are classically trained in the art of the styles of dance offered at our sensory friendly, special needs dance studio.

Quick Facts

80% of our teaching team has a professional dance background or is currently a professional dancer.

All Chance 2 Dance Studio team members are CPR/AED certified.

Lead instructors are Inclusion and Special Needs certified and have a higher education degree in dance, therapy, education/special education, or leadership/business management.

Assistant instructors are training to become lead instructors and/or are in college working towards a relevant degree.

Meet our Central Florida Dance Instructors

Lauren Hoefer
Associate Director of Programs & Performance Team

Lauren started gymnastics at age 3 and soon after started dancing. Once joining the competition team at age 8, she focused more on dance and became fully immersed in all styles possible. Lauren attended the University of Florida where she majored in Dance Performance. Upon receiving her BFA from UF she moved to Orlando to dance at Universal Studios Orlando. Lauren has enjoyed her experience since season 1 with Chance 2 Dance and looks forward to continuing to share her love of dance!

Angel Parker
Lead Instructor

Angel is an Orlando native. She is currently in college working towards her special needs education degree at Seminole State College. She learned to dance as a high school student, training under Nicole Warren. She brings love, compassion, and high energy to all her classes. Angel is excited for her 6th season with Chance 2 Dance!

Jacquelyn Cheffer
Performance Team Rehearsal Director & Lead Instructor

Growing up in Orlando, Jacquelyn started dance at the age of 3 with a local dance studio and through Lyman High School Dance Team, receiving the title of Dance Team Captain her Senior year. She was a company member with Emotions Dance Company from 2019-2025 performing in the Orlando area and also has her own choreographic works within local shows such as The Butterfly Effect, Amusing Spaces, and The Shift. While training and performing Jacquelyn attended University of Central Florida receiving her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology in 2024. Jacquelyn has been teaching since 2021 and joined Chance 2 Dance in 2023. She loves being a part of this meaningful organization’s mission to share dance with everybody.

Mabby Posadas
Zumba Instructor

Mabby Posadas is a dedicated educator and fitness professional with a diverse background in teaching, curriculum development, program coordination, and client relations. She currently serves as an Activities Director and Fitness Instructor with LA Fitness, where she manages instructor scheduling and class coverage across 14 locations in multiple states while also developing and teaching engaging Zumba and SilverSneakers classes.

Prior to her work in fitness, Mabby spent several years as a teacher and academic coordinator, teaching first and second grade, developing curriculum, and supporting student growth. Her experience has strengthened her skills in leadership, communication, organization, and creating positive learning environments.

Mabby is Special Needs/Inclusion Certified and CPR/AED certified. She is also a certified Chance 2 Dance (C2D) instructor, where she currently teaches Zumba. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Mabby brings a strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to supporting and encouraging others.

Carlee Suminski
Performance Team Rehearsal Director & Lead Instructor

Carlee Suminski was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She’s been teaching and sharing her artistry since 2021, started dance at age 3 and began competitive dance at age 7. Carlee trained with Starz Dance Company all the way through graduation in 2018. She was also Captain of the Winter Springs High School Dance Team both her Junior & Senior year. She then continued her education and received her AA at Valencia College, and plans to go back to school and get her Bachelor’s Degree. Carlee has been with Chance 2 Dance since 2024 and is excited to continue sharing her love for dance and inclusion.

Juanita Olarte
Lead Instructor

Juanita Olarte brings 8 years of dance experience from Starz Dance Company, along with her experience as a member of the Oviedo High School Dance Team throughout high school. She is currently studying Journalism at the University of Central Florida and plans to pursue a master’s degree in Dance Education. Juanita is passionate about dance and education and loves helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and their love for dance.

Kayla Oberkfell
FL Community Coordinator

Kayla began her dance journey at age 3 and started competitive dance at age 8. She has trained in hip hop, tap, jazz, contemporary, musical theatre, and ballet, with hip hop being her favorite style for its creativity, energy, and self-expression. Alongside her dance background, Kayla has spent over 10 years working with individuals with disabilities in a variety of settings. She is currently a Registered Behavior Technician and has been for 6 years. She graduated from Capella University in 2025 magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree focused on Applied Behavior Analysis.

Kayla is passionate about creating inclusive dance experiences where every student feels supported, valued, and empowered. She loves building confidence in her students and watching them grow both as dancers and individuals. She is excited to continuing combining her two passions of dance and disability inclusion in her third year with Chance 2 Dance. Outside of dance, Kayla enjoys spending time with her three cats and going to escape rooms!

Kayla Fitzgerald
Lead Instructor

Kayla grew up doing doing performing arts in her home state of Massachusetts. She attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she received her BFA in Musical Theatre. After graduating college she taught musical theatre and dance classes before moving to Orlando, Florida to teach in special education. She is so excited to be joining the Chance 2 Dance team!
