His influence continues to shape Chance 2 Dance’s mission of creating accessible, inclusive dance opportunities where every dancer is seen, valued, and celebrated. Through this legacy fund, Kirk’s impact will continue to open doors for future generations, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of a dancer discovering confidence, community, and belonging.

Making a Difference Through Kirk’s Legacy Fund

The Kirk Reemsnyder Legacy Fund honors the life and lasting impact of Kirk Reemsnyder, whose joy, determination, and love of dance inspired the creation of Chance 2 Dance. Kirk’s legacy lives on through every dancer who finds confidence, belonging, and opportunity within our programs.

Unlike a designated fund that supports one specific individual or program, Kirk’s Legacy Fund provides Chance 2 Dance with the flexibility to meet dancers where they need it most. Contributions are pooled into a mission-driven fund that allows our organization to remove barriers to participation across all of our programs.

Support may include, but is not limited to:

Dance tuition and class fees
Private lessons
One-on-one instructional support
Competition registration fees
Costumes and performance attire
Dance shoes and required apparel
Adaptive equipment or accommodations
Performance opportunities
Workshops, master classes, and enrichment experiences
Transportation or participation assistance when appropriate
Other program-related needs that help a dancer succeed

Because every dancer’s journey is different, funding support are determined by Chance 2 Dance based on individual needs, financial barriers, and opportunities for growth. This flexible approach allows the organization to respond quickly and thoughtfully, ensuring that every donation has the greatest possible impact.
